Physician and researcher in Space Medicine and collaborator with the European Space Agency (ESA).

Maybritt Kuypers will discuss the clinical and physiological challenges humans experience during stays in space – for example on space stations and during long-duration missions. The lecture will cover topics including:

  • Health challenges associated with living in space
  • Clinical issues during long-duration space missions
  • ESA's upcoming challenges and research areas
  • Interdisciplinary research opportunities within space medicine

There will also be information on opportunities for:

  • Research collaborations
  • PhD programmes/postdoc applications and international projects
